Dr. Jeffrey Yelle received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and has continued his education throughout his dental career. He is board certified with the American Board of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry and the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board. He is also a member of the following organizations:
- International Association of Biological Dental Medicine (IABDM)
- International Association of Oral Medicine & Toxicology (IAOMT)
- Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Discipline (ACSDD)
Dr. Yelle has received extensive additional training in the following subjects:

- PROTECT Protocol for safe mercury removal – IABDM
- LANAP® and LAPIP™ laser dentistry for periodontal disease and peri-implantitis
- Implant dentistry, aesthetic dentistry and dental rehabilitation

- Identification and treatment of cranial facial deficiencies
As a dentist, Dr. Yelle’s goal is to educate his patients in the root cause of their dental issues and identify the most minimally invasive way to restore health and balance.
Dr. Rachel Espinoza is a Colorado transplant originally from Northern California. Before earning her dental degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Espinoza was a math and science educator in San Francisco, California. Dr. Espinoza strives to provide the best care possible in a compassionate setting and is constantly learning through her involvement with national and international study clubs.
Dr. Espinoza is an active member of the American Dental Association® and the Colorado Dental Association. Locally, Dr. Espinoza is a director at the Colorado Springs Dental Society and sits on the Committee for Education. When she is not at the office or working on her fellowship, she enjoys staying active, traveling and exploring Colorado with her dog, Mila.

Jaime completed an associate degree in accounting in 2007 and attended dental assisting school at Institute of Medical and Business Careers. She received her Associate of Occupational Studies and dental assisting diploma in 2013. Jaime joined our team in January 2021.
Jaime has four beautiful kids, three boys and one girl. Jaime loves hiking, kayaking and watching her two boys play hockey.
Jaime loves being part of the Mountain Wellness team and considers the team as her second family.
Emily graduated with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Indiana University South Bend. She moved to Colorado five years ago after living all her life in Indiana. Emily started working part-time at Mountain Wellness Dentistry in September 2022.
Emily is married to her wonderful husband, Corey, and they have two adorable little girls. They enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities together, traveling domestically and internationally, being involved within their church family, and spending quality time with both sides of their families.
Emily is thrilled to join Dr. Yelle and his team in bringing holistically minded dentistry and quality care to our patients. Emily enjoys learning and growing within health and nutrition and how that affects the oral cavity and total body health. She also enjoys the one-on-one interactions with each patient she sees, building relationships and connections within the community she lives in.
Lani is a full-time hygienist at Mountain Wellness Dentistry. She joined the team in August 2021. She has been here in Colorado for over 30 years. She graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Her passion for learning and expanding her knowledge has led to a career in dentistry that has lasted over 35 years.
Lani’s hobbies include jewelry making, being outdoors and spending quality time with her family.
Lani is excited to be a part of the team at Mountain Wellness Dentistry, as she appreciates being able to form long-lasting relationships with the patients here. This allows for a more comprehensive approach to their overall health.
Melyssa graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science degree. She joined our practice in June 2021. Melyssa’s drive is to be better than she was yesterday. Her knowledge as a hygienist, patient care, ability to show compassion and understanding for each individual patient, and desire for continued education and growth continue to aid our practice.
Melyssa’s husband is a firefighter. They have two sons and one daughter, who have a love for sports. Melyssa enjoys mountain biking, snow skiing, hiking, reading and gardening.
Melyssa loves our community and getting the privilege of treating and taking care of the people in it. She likes that we are a small-town practice, which helps you feel at home here, and that our patients become our friends. She also likes being part of a growing practice that is at the forefront of dentistry.
Brittney is originally from West Chester, Pennsylvania. Brittney made the Dean’s List and graduated August 2015 from the Medical Education and Training Campus at Fort Sam Houston. She served eight years as a hospital corpsman with a specialty trade in dentistry. Brittney joined our team in June 2022. Brittney contributes to our practice’s success through continuing her education, being a team player, learning from her coworkers and being able to teach what she has learned.
Brittney’s fiancé, Khalid, is stationed at Fort Carson, and they moved here with their cat, Indy. Brittney loves movies, especially Marvel movies. She also enjoys reading a new book every week, swimming and having Sunday brunch.
Brittney’s favorite part of being at Mountain Wellness Dentistry is being in a learning and training environment and being part of an awesome team!
Kelsey is a Colorado native. She grew up in Monument and graduated from Lewis-Palmer High School. She continued her education at Pikes Peak Community College, achieving her EMT certification, and then decided to go into the dental field. Kelsey started in an oral surgeon office, completing on-the-job training. She has enjoyed being able to take what she has learned in oral surgery and continues to use that knowledge in the general practice.
Kelsey is a proud dog mom of her rescue dog, Nugget. She loves taking her on hikes around Colorado. She also enjoys spending her free time with friends and family.
Kelsey is thrilled to have joined the practice of Dr. Yelle and his amazing team. She loves that Mountain Wellness Dentistry puts our patients first and the individual care we give to each and every patient. Kelsey also enjoys that we have holistic approaches and continue to not only educate our patients on the growing advancements in dentistry but ourselves as well.
Sam is originally from the lovely island of Maui, Hawaii. She became a certified dental assistant through the Hui No Ke Ola Pono dental program in Maui in 2019. Sam joined Mountain Wellness Dental in February 2022, and she contributes her constant cheerfulness, positive and outgoing attitude, and her ability to adapt to our practice.
Sam is a dog ma, and she has a dog named Doc. She loves riding horses and doing anything outdoors.
For Sam, the best things about being a part of Mountain Wellness Dentistry are getting to contribute to the health and holistic wellness of our patients and working with Dr. Yelle’s innovative philosophy and mindset.
Lucy joined us in 2022, as she had to wait until she was older to come. She makes our nervous patients feel safe.
Lucy lives with her humans, Dr. Yelle, his wife, Erin, and their children, Ben, Ryan and Noah. She also lives with her little sister, Maggie. Lucy loves to run, swim and chase tennis balls.
Lucy loves getting lots of love and pets at Mountain Wellness Dentistry. (And sometimes Jaime sneaks her treats.)
